About Dr. Andrew Burton, D.D.S.

Dr. Burton, D.D.S., is a dedicated and highly trained dentist committed to providing top-quality care and a comfortable experience for his patients. A Wilmington, NC native, he earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry with minors in Biology and Japanese from UNC-Chapel Hill, where he graduated with honors and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the UNC School of Dentistry in 2017, where he was recognized for his leadership and service.

Following dental school, Dr. Burton completed an advanced education in general dentistry residency at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center, where he gained extensive experience in implant placement, oral surgery, restorative dentistry, and root canal therapy while caring for our nation’s veterans. Passionate about lifelong learning, he has pursued hundreds of hours of continuing education and is on track to graduate from the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle, WA, a world-renowned institution for advanced dental training.

Dr. Burton provides a full range of dental services, including cosmetic dentistry and restorative dental procedures, Invisalign, surgical extractions, and implant placement. He takes pride in truly listening to his patients and working with them to achieve their oral health and smile goals.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Burton enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, exploring Greensboro, and staying active with backpacking, pickleball, and Ultimate Frisbee. A passionate educator, he enjoys writing about dentistry to help patients better understand their oral health, empowering them with the knowledge to make confident decisions about their care.
